Direct Billing

At NeuroPeak, we want your experience to be as smooth and stress-free as possible—starting with how you pay. That’s why we offer direct billing to most major insurance providers, ICBC and WorkSafeBC, saving you time and out-of-pocket expenses.

How Does Direct Billing Work?

Direct billing allows NeuroPeak to invoice your insurance provider directly for your physiotherapy, counselling, massage therapy and in some cases, active rehab treatments (kinesiology). Instead of paying the full amount upfront and submitting a claim yourself, we do it for you. That means less paperwork and faster reimbursement—or no payment at all if your coverage is 100%.

ICBC Approved Claims

If you have an ICBC claim, we are proud to offer no user fees for any approved claims! This means no out-of-pocket expenses for your ICBC injury recovery process. We direct bill for the following treatments with automatic approval within the first 12 weeks of your date of injury: Physiotherapy (25 Sessions), Kinesiology and Active Rehab (12 Sessions), Massage Therapy (12 sessions) and Clinical Counselling (12 sessions).

WorkSafeBC Cases

If you have been injured in a workplace accident, we offer direct billing to WorkSafeBC for all approved claims for Physiotherapy and counselling. This means no out-of-pocket expenses or user fees for any of the above treatments throughout your recovery process.

Availability of Direct Billing

We currently offer direct billing for the following extended health benefit providers:

  • Pacific Blue Cross
  • Canada Life
  • Manulife
  • and more

Not sure if your provider is eligible? Just give us a call and our Client Experience team would be happy to check for you.

What You Need

To set up direct billing for an extended health plan, please bring your insurance card (with policy and ID number). We’ll handle the rest!

If you have an ICBC or WorkSafeBC claim, please bring your claim number and date of injury. We recommend contacting our Client Experience team, at 604-424-8280, with your date of injury so we can confirm your coverage prior to your first appointment.

Important Notes

  • Coverage amounts vary by provider and plan. We recommend checking your policy details before your appointment.
  • If your provider only covers a portion of the cost, you’ll be responsible for the remaining balance at the time of service.
  • Occasionally, claims may not be processed in real-time. In such cases, you may need to pay upfront and get reimbursed once the claim is approved.

If you’re still not sure about how direct billing works or if you’re eligible, please contact us.
