WSBC PHYSIOTHERAPY SERVICES
The WSBC physiotherapy treatment model provides a structured, standardized approach. We support injured workers in their recovery by providing assessment and treatments that help our clients reach the physical and functional levels necessary to enable them to return to their pre-injury work.
The initial assessment is pre-approved if you have a pending or accepted claim if the assessment occurs within 60 days from the date of injury. Please call the clinic to book an assessment.
CONCUSSION AND VESTIBULAR PHYSIOTHERAPY SERVICES (CVPT)
The CVPT treatment will provide workers who have a confirmed or suspected work-related concussion and/or vestibular condition, access to evidence-based assessment and treatment from one of our qualified physiotherapists. We will assist injured workers return to their pre-injury work in a safe, timely, and durable manner.

EARLY CONCUSSION ASSESSMENT AND TREATMENT PROGRAM (ECAT)
The ECAT program is delivered by a physical therapist and an occupational therapist. The primary focus of the program is early assessment, education, and reassurance, with focused intervention as needed, to facilitate a safe and durable return to work for injured workers with confirmed or suspected concussions. You may also work with a Kinesiologist, Rehab Assistant and Registered Clinical Counselor.
We develop an individualized treatment plan to address the specific needs of each worker in the program.
Treatment plans may include:
- Vestibular rehabilitation
- Physiotherapy treatment (for concussion-related whiplash)
- Cognitive rehabilitation
- Occupational therapy treatment in the clinic or the community
- Group education and rehabilitation sessions
- Return-to-work planning and support, which may include visiting a job site
